The Blackmagic Design ATEM 1 M/E Broadcast Panel is a vision mixing panel designed for live vision mixing and production. The use of the ATEM interface means that this panel can be used to control other Blackmagic design products, including the Studio Converter, the Production Studio 4K and the Design Studio Camera 4K.
The compact panel fits in a 19″ rack system, and offers a range of vision mixing and effects on the system. Along with traditional cut, mix and wipe, the ATEM 1 also includes dip, stinger, graphic wipe and digital video effects. Animated graphics transitions can be loaded simply into the device, and other digital effects, such as light sources, drop shadows and 3D borders can be included.
